    撮影の舞台は、歴史と文化、洗練と混沌が交差する都市・パリ。

    本キャンペーンでは、グローバルな視点とローカルな哲学が交差するこの地において、RAINMAKER の美意識が再解釈されています。

    撮影には、パリを拠点に活躍する2 人のクリエイターが参加。
    スタイリストには、元『Glamour』ファッションエディターであり、クリエイティブコンサルタントとしても活躍するスタイリスト、TIM TOBIAS ZIMMERMANN（ティム・トビアス・ツィンマーマン）氏。 フォトグラファーには、ロンドンと日本で経験を積み、詩的な質感描写に定評のある写真家カメイショウタ（Shota Kamei）氏が担当しています。

    2026 年秋冬、RAINMAKER が描くのは、「光と闇が交わる場所」に宿る美。 谷崎潤一郎『陰翳礼讃』とカラヴァッジョの明暗表現を手がかりに、 東西の美意識を往還しながら、静けさと劇性が共鳴するエレガンスを探求します。
  • RAINMAKER is pleased to unveil the campaign visuals for its Autumn/Winter 2026 collection.

    The campaign was photographed in Paris—a city where history and culture, refinement and chaos converge.

    Set against this backdrop, where global perspectives meet local philosophy, the campaign reinterprets RAINMAKER's distinctive aesthetic.

    The project brings together two creators based in Paris.
    Styling was directed by Tim Tobias Zimmermann, former Fashion Editor at Glamour and an acclaimed stylist and creative consultant.
    Photography was captured by Shota Kamei, a photographer whose experience in London and Japan has shaped his signature poetic approach to texture and light.

    For Autumn/Winter 2026, RAINMAKER explores the beauty that exists where light and darkness meet.
    Inspired by Junichiro Tanizaki's In Praise of Shadows and Caravaggio's dramatic use of chiaroscuro,
    the collection moves between Eastern and Western aesthetics in pursuit of an elegance where serenity and drama resonate as one.

  • ティム・トビアス・ツィンマーマンは、ベルリン、パリ、そして故郷チューリッヒを拠点に活動する、 フリーランスのエディター、スタイリスト、クリエイティブ・コンサルタント。

    ファッション、カルチャー、そして現代のイメージメイキングが交差する領域を舞台に、 文化の変遷や歴史的背景、「装うこと」がもたらす変化の力を軸としたストーリーを構築。

    芸術への深い敬意と直感的なスタイリングをもとに、時代を超えるエレガンスと、 現代的な視点を融合させた表現を得意としている。
  • Tim Tobias Zimmermann is a freelance editor, stylist, and creative consultant based between Berlin, Paris, and his hometown of Zurich.

    Working at the intersection of fashion, culture, and contemporary image-making, he crafts narratives centered on cultural evolution, historical context, and the transformative power of dress.

    Guided by a profound respect for art and an intuitive approach to styling, his work brings together timeless elegance and a contemporary perspective, creating expressions that transcend eras.

SHOTA KAMEI / カメイ ショウタ

  • 東京生まれの写真家。 学生時代に渡英し、英語とファッションを学んだ後、都内の写真スタジオで勤務。 その後、再びロンドンに拠点を移し、Piczo、Viviane Sassen、 Oliver Hadlee Pearch、Willy Vanderperre、Tom Craig などの 著名なフォトグラファーの1st アシスタントを務める。

    自身でもファッションブランドのルック撮影を手掛け、 35mm、120mm フィルム、中判デジタルカメラ、ポラロイドなど多様なカメラを使用。 ポストプロダクションでは和紙や1950 年代の古紙を活用するなど、 独自の技法で作品を創出。2024 年よりパリを拠点に活動中。
  • Tokyo-born photographer Shota Kamei began his artistic journey in London,
    where he studied English and fashion before returning to Tokyo.
    After working at a photography studio in Tokyo,
    he moved back to London to further his career. In London,
    he served as a first assistant to renowned photographers such as Piczo, Viviane Sassen, Oliver Hadlee Pearch, Willy Vanderperre, and Tom Craig.

    He also took on his own fashion brand lookbook shoots.
    Kamei employs a diverse range of techniques in his work, utilizing 35mm and 120mm film, medium format digital cameras, and Polaroids.
    In post-production, he incorporates traditional Japanese washi paper and 1950s vintage paper to add unique textures.
    Since 2024, he has been based in Paris, continuing to develop his distinctive visual language.
